Divisions and Responsibilities

General Services Division

  • Responsible for the procurement of office supplies, instructional equipment, and other materials required by the University and its academic and administrative units.
  • Maintains and enhances the campus environment through cleaning and refurbishment.
  • Administers disciplinary measures and commendations for technical staff and custodial personnel.
  • Manages the disbursement of petty cash.
  • Oversees the management and allocation of official campus vehicles.
  • Issues parking permits to faculty members, students, and visitors.

Cashier Division

  • Administers the receipt and disbursement of University funds.
  • Prepares payroll statements and processes tax withholding payments.
  • Collects and manages University fees and payments.

Property Management Division

  • Oversees the administration and management of all University real estate, both on and off campus.
  • Manages consumable and non-consumable assets.
  • Allocates faculty housing units.
  • Processes applications for government housing and housing loans available to civil servants.

Construction and Maintenance Division

  • Undertakes comprehensive planning for campus development.
  • Prepares budgets and administers tendering procedures for construction projects.
  • Supervises construction worksites and monitors project implementation.
  • Conducts inspections and acceptance procedures for completed construction works.
  • Maintains and upgrades campus buildings, classrooms, and water and electrical infrastructure.
  • Designs and enhances the campus landscape and built environment.

Campus Security

  • Safeguards the security and well-being of students, visitors, faculty, and staff.
  • Provides essential emergency response and rescue services when necessary.
  • Regulates access to campus entry points.
  • Enforces campus parking regulations and traffic control measures.

Campus Services Committee

  • Engages with prospective vendors regarding the outsourcing and operation of campus cafeterias, dining halls, and marketplace facilities.
  • Oversees and supervises the operations of campus marketplaces.
  • Conducts inspections to ensure food hygiene standards and water quality at all campus food service establishments.
